Breakfast with Steve Mills and Basil Zempilas, it’s the heart and soul of Perth. Born and bred in Perth, nobody knows our town like Steve and Baz. Steve Mills has done it all, father, accountant, teacher, public servant, bookmaker, even taxi driver. He brings that wealth of experience, a curious mind and a warm heart to the radio every weekday morning. Basil Zempilas is one of Australia’s leading sports broadcasters and a regular fixture at the biggest sporting events in the country and around the world with Channel Seven. But Baz calls Perth home and after his family, it’s his greatest passion. His energy and cheeky personality burst out of the radio every Monday-Friday from 5am. Breakfast with Steve Mills and Basil Zempilas, it’s Perth’s most entertaining breakfast show and it’s home to Perth’s most talked about radio segment, The Rumour File.

If it's happening in Perth, Gareth Parker has it covered. With all the latest breaking news, best interviews, analysis and opinion, the Morning Program has Perth talking. Gareth is one of WA's leading journalists, news breakers, commentators and columnists. After 13 years at The West Australian newspaper, the past seven covering WA politics, Gareth brings his razor sharp analysis to 6PR, using his contacts to break news and score the big interviews on all the important issues that matter to the people of Perth. Fearless and fair, Gareth takes on the big talking points to inform and entertain.

Simon Beaumont gives you all the news you can use in the afternoon. It’s good fun for people who love listening to the radio. His take on all the local, national and international issues ranges from satirical and humorous to serious, as part of a show filled with quirks and information. The show is driven by talkback calls and features sensational regular segments to keep the listeners entertained and informed. Simon has been involved with the media since 2001 as a Producer, Radio Presenter and MC at functions and events. After a couple of media stints at the Sydney and Athens Olympics, Simon has been prominent at large scale sporting events like fun runs, triathlons and swim events. He has worked in coterie rooms at the West Coast Eagles home games for the last 7 years and is the ground caller at the Furnace for the Perth Scorchers in the BBL. Most of all, Simon loves that sense of discovering new ideas and information that only live radio can provide. He is respected in his field and well connected to the issues that make Perth and Western Australia a great place to live. He plays in a small, inexpensive cover band “The Good Things” and tries to get a swim or a jog in each day. Some nights, there are 7 kids staying at his house.
