Making it into a golf tournament is no mean feat, but snatching the lead in a PGA event – especially if you’re an amateur.

WA golfer Min Woo Lee has done just that – and even set a new course record – at the Kalgoorlie Golf Club this week.

Next week, he’ll set foot on his home course to continue his fine form at the WA Open.

Lee’s older sister – Minjee Lee – turned pro last year, but the young gun wouldn’t be drawn on whether he would go down a similar path in the near future.
